I’m in Love with My Prince

Heck, he has such a baby face as pretty as a picture! My eyes are drawn like a magnet to it. His white glowing skin makes him look like an angel whom God has graciously showered with a great blessing. His heavenly tongue, even though it sometimes cracks me up, utters wisdom that serves as garland around my neck. Look at his head: His golden brown, disheveled hair reflects his bright & breezy personality. Oh, how I love thee!

Wohoo! His amusing jest defuses my stress.......and his laughter…oh yes…his laughter…it penetrates into my soul! The look in his eyes can reveal his real deep feelings more than songs can ever express. Awww, the sweetness in his face is like honey dripping down my pharynx.

His name is……Steven Warner. He was 8 years old when he played the role of the Little Prince. The movie I love to watch over and over again. It is based from the book which conveys insightful philosophical principles of life. Steven Warner started out as a child actor, such a very admirable and adorable child actor! I wonder what ever happened to him. It seems he has lost his career….sigh..

Meeting my Prince Charming

    I was in a place with a crowd of strangers when I encountered my Prince Charming.  Different kinds of people were literally just around the corner.

    As I was standing then, not as a Princess but like a lady-in-waiting, an unknown man suddenly approached me from behind and held my hand so tight.                           Surprisingly, I did not react violently to refuse his unofficial and informal manner.   Looking back at him curiously, I realized that I was just as tall as his shoulders.   So I needed to lift my head a little higher to glance his face. We were still holding hands when I finally recognized his features.   My eyes were nailed to him.  I was mesmerized by his looks.   Heck, he was absolutely handsome!

    That is how I met the man of my dreams.   Strange, isn’t it?      It happened in 2005, on a cool December night while I was impersonating Sleeping Beauty.   But it was my mother’s voice that woke me up instead of a kiss from my Prince Charming whom I did not get along with a little too well (sigh).

    Now that it is December again, I guess he is on his way to join me in dreaming great things for Aslan (God).  Maybe he comes from a very far yet magnificent palace that it took him years to travel or maybe his horse got tired so he decided to hitch a ride with Santa Claus.   Maybe.......

Inspiring Recommendation from a Fellow Blogger

        Below is an encouraging recommendation I just got today on my entrecard http://entrecard.com/details/127035 from a fellow blogger http://businesspherealty.com/ though I don’t even know her personally or anything.   This is very timely! because these past few days I was fairly hesitant to continue blogging.  Thank you so much maam……
This is one of the few sites that I like to visit, read and follow. I enjoy reading the good posts, especially on legal matters, since I have also a law background before becoming a realtor and my husband is a lawyer. I recommend this blog to the readers, especially to fellow Filipinos, so that they can get knowledge of the law, since ignorance of the law excuses no one from its compliance. Thumbs up! to this blog.

My Inspiration - DESIDERATA

        I hope you will also be inspired by this excellent poem.

        Desiderata is Latin for "Things to be Desired"; an inspirational prose poem about attaining happiness in life.
The author Max Ehrmann is a poet and lawyer from Terre Haute, Indiana, who lived from 1872 to 1945.

GO PLACIDLY amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others,
even to the dull and ignorant;
they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexations to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be
greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career,
however humble;
it is a real possession in the
changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you
to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit
to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore, be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham,
drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.
